15x8 vs 15x10 pros/cons
Im looking to purchase a set of ION alloy 171 rims (black w/machined lip) but I cant decide between 15x8 or 15x10 on a 31
Ill be doing a 3' lift this is my DD, no off roading and no trailing riding.
I would like the 15x10 but can be happy with 15x8 if there too many negative issues with the 10's
It looks like 15x8 is the size of choice but I dont know it thats just b/c for off roading its a better size to have...
Just looking for some insight, THANKS

Im going to assume a 31x10.50.
Get the 8s.
10 inch wheels look goofy with a 10.5 inch wide tire, they dont hold the bead as well, the tire will stick out another inch and that may cause rubbing issues with your setup (assuming you don't want to trim)

I have 12.50 width tires and my rims are 8" wide. I would recommend the 15x8's for whatever tire you're contemplating. As stated above, it can cause problems with the bead.
