Just broke 120k miles today with my 90 xj! Many more miles ahead of me. Is there anything that starts to go out around this time or am I good for a while?

 

 

it all depends on how well you maintain your vehicle

 

If you haven't done it yet, it would be a good idea to change the gear oil in your differentials and to change the fluid in your transfer case.

 

I keep it up to par, oil and coolant gets flushed frequently. Replaced the speak plugs not to long ago, I havent changed the gear oil tho so I'll have to do that. I'm starting to have one problem tho. When I need to go to 4 wheel drive it doesn't like to work in 4H. It'll work no problem in 4L tho. Could this be from bad fluid?

 

It could be the chain being slightly loose.
