Ya but I would make it about an inch longer , weld one end and mock it up. This way you can cut to fit when your ready

I just wanted to update this page and give my two cents after completing my steering. My dom cut lengths not including the inserts was 20 inches and 39 3/4 inches. Half inch of threads showing after adding the inserts. This is beef handles great on and offroad. Slight rub on trac bar bolt but nothing major.

What is the solve for this? I did my 1 ton steering and my tie rod hits the track bar bolt when I turn the wheel far enough. Is there a fix other than adjusting the steering stops?

This might have been covered somewhere. Still searching...

Cut the bracket off and move it up 2 inches and build a track bar.

I was trying to avoid major fab work like that if at all possible... I don't have access to a welder so that's kinda out of the question at the moment

Never mind, I'm just going to adjust the steering stops. Not the end of the world I suppose
