Default 1 ton utk steering question

Is there anyone that has the utk kit from jcr that can help me by measuring the tie rod and drag link length. Any kit that uses the gm 1 ton tie rods will work. Thanks

I in the process if doing a OTK setup using the same stuff. I'll measure my mock up tie rod when I get home. Hvent gotten to the drag link or Trac bar yet

Ok sounds good i was just wanting to know so that i could tell the guy what length to cut the dom when i buy it. Also its going on a d30.

Ok awesome thanks if you could let me know what ur drag link will measure when its done that would be cool. Im still trying to figure out what im gonna do about a reamer.

I just drilled them out and got the tappered inserts

Ya i thought about getting them but idk. Is there a tapered insert for the pitman arm too?

Ya the draglink tres have a bigger tapper . I got the inserts from TMR customs .com. and for the tie rod I ordered from ruffstuff

Did the 43 inches for the tie rod include the weld on ends? So overall total welded length? Any luck with the drag link measure?

That was just the tie rod. The exposed ends of the inserts will probably add roughly 2 inches. Haven't done much more, been tied up with wedding plans and trying to buy a house

No problem lol sounds like you got your hands full. So just to get this straight so i only cut once. Measure tubing to 43 inches weld on inserts and im set?
