I've had my 01XJ for two years now and coudln't be happier with it.
The only thing i think would make it more useful is a good roof rack. I'm looking for something that is a couple of simple bars that i could put lumber on when i'm picking up two by fours from home depot. As of right now i'm stuck sliding them on my roof and praying they dont slide around. Is there any simple roof racks out there that i can install my self with? even if there is replacement bars i can put in the OEM tracks that are already on the jeep.

Do they mount to the roof of the jeep or just clamp on to the gutters?

clamp to the gutters and mine have locks to keep them there...a little more expensive than others but true quality
