Doubt your gonna find another XJ with 25k any time soon. I just bought a brand new 2010 Focus SES for a DD, so I had to buy a cheap old XJ to fix up. But if I had the cash or could finance another vehicle right now I'd be all over this.

I'd definitely offer them less than they're asking, but I bet they get just about that for it. Where else are you going to find a like-new XJ with only 25k miles? I bet they get at least $8500 for it, if not more.
And I don't know how your dad scored that deal, best I could find in Seattle in Feb '02 was a one-owner '93 XJ Sport that I got for $7500.

This is a jeep that was ran just less than 3k miles a year. I would worry about a low mileage vehicle like this as much as I would worry about a high mileage one. Thats a lot of sitting and not being run. I had two very low mileage older age cars that both ended up running like crap.

I second that. Mine just hit 80,000 miles and mine is a 2000, still working out the kinks, bad fuel that sat in the tank for so long, it was garaged for a year, and the oil caked in there. I have to flush her when I do the next one. Etc. But Ol' Betsy runs amazing, don't get me wrong, she's just got alot of years, few miles lol.

There was a 2001 cherokee limited with 10.00 miles on ebay a while back.. sold for 17k.. I also looked at a 2000 with 12k the other day.. I drove it and my jeep runs the same with 140k..I wouldnt get a low mile cherokee like that.. sitting is NOT good for them at ALL..
