I was trying to be humorously sarcastic. I don't remember what year or model it was and it didn't actually say to remove the engine but, the amount of stuff we had to remove to get to the starter made it seem like it would have been easier to just take the engine out.

Oh so alldata didn't say step 1 remove engine, because you said they did when you should of said "for this certain Mercedes for starter removal the engine SHOULD be removed."

Interesting .....

There are not too many good stockers and they seem to be hacked to death by 16 year old billy bob to impress Mary Jane rottencrotch.
Lol that is too true.

I think I would just get a 4 door JK. They are not that bad looking with a good sized lift on them and some of them come with the bigger axles etc with factory warranty.

OR I would do this and keep my XJ for offroad.

In that picture it does... some of the others (like the interior) look pretty nice. I'm sure if the guts are all the same you could make it decent looking.

I think if you ditched the big booty bumpers, lifted it, etc it'd look pretty good. I like the interior, at least what I can see of it, maybe if I hit the mega millions I'll buy the rights to reproduce them (sans fugliness), and the equipment. Lol

I didn't really care for the stock 2011 but, that one looks pretty cool.
I still think my bone stock XJ has more ground clearance though.
