Im not sure if it was mentioned but did you use the AtoZ fab spindle and tire mount? I like that kit with the exception of the threaded t handle for a latch.

He did.. I too like the kit, but hate that t-handle.

I used 1/8th inch wall 2x2. Its kinda a cut n fit sorta thing. Trail and error till I got it to stick out far enough

Very nice build. Most XJ carriers seem to have the tire to one side I like that you went down the middle. Plans to reinforce the mounting points?
