So I just got back from lowes and they had my 1 1/4 hole saw for the spindle. Here's a test fit. Got the first hole done and then the goddamn set screw flew out and my bit is useless without the pilot bit...

Got some more work done on the tire swing. Here's pics. All I have left to do is finish the latch and build the frame and mounting plate, then paint it! As you can see, I had to angle the frame to clear the hatch

What I got done this afternoon. Made a little block so the swing will sit level above the bumper. All I need to do is the frame and mounting plate then I'm done
hoping for a SNOWDAY tomorrow, supposed to get 15-20" here in the metro. If that's the case, I'm gonna heat up the shop and work all day to finish it!
