So I need a trailer hitch, nothing with wiring or anything but just a hitch with a reciever. Does anyone know any way to possibly build your own? or any other vehicle with the same frame rails that would be bolt on to an XJ? Ive checked every junk yard in my city for an xj with a trailer hitch and cant find one....

What are they demensions of the bracket that attached to the stock bumper mounting locations? (the plate with 4 holes in it, e.i how for apart are the holes and how big is the peice) i would normally just take my bumper off and measure but my bolts are rusted really bad and once i take it off im going to need to build a new bracket and i dont want to drive around with no rear bumper while im building the brackets.
