Front and rear with rock sliders and a tire carrier. Will post pics when I get the metal. Plan on using 3/16 plate and .125 1.5 in round tubing. If anyone knows anything about mounting sugestions that's appreciated but lets keep it fab related. This is my jeep now and that's the style I'm going for.

I really like the looks of the front bumper. Where would you mount the winch? Getting ready to start on my front bumper. Maybe we will get some ideas from you. I don't want something that is going to weigh a ton and squat my front end but I still want it to be strong and big enough to support a winch.

Here's a pic from Pirate of how most guys mount up they're homebrew WJ bumpers. You've got the winch plate that bolts directly to the bumper mounts. Personally I would consider welding it for the added strength.

Gona use like 1/4 or 1/2 thick to make it and weld in

I was looking at widening the front of the frame rails but noticed there are spot welds holding it together I don't know how this guy did it

I agree, definitely needs to be more stout, but it gives the concept of how to mount the bumper.

Does this cut make it more of a straight on approach to the rails? Would 1/2" be over-kill on these brackets?

Yes this cut is neccisary more straight line and better bolt on I am using 1/4 to cut weight and both work just fine 1/2 is thick but itll work just find
