The whole assembly? Winch and all? I just ask because a buddy had a winch stolen. If four bolts to freedom is all you have I would somehow secure it a little better. I also mounted my winch too close too the grille and now is a pain in the *** to get the grille/header out.

The grill comes out with 8 screws and the bolts are 1/2 with lock nuts

With no radius? Thats hard with no press. You could heat it or knotch it with a cutoff wheel and weld the crack maybe.

Like dude said, either notch it, bend it and reweld it or cut it completely and reweld it. It ain't gunna bend anywhere near tight enough without splitting.

My fairlead is completely against the face of my winch. It just needs to be lined up correctly with the spool.

I heated it for 15-20 minutes didn't even get it light yellow on the line with 3 map gas torches so I'm thinking notch it

Mapp gas isn't any hotter than a bic lighter. U need oxygen/acetylene gas mix

I was about to say something along the line of "I use Mapp gas to light my cigars in the bar." but you beat me to it.
