Default 1997 xj rocker panel question

I was going to start replacing my rocker panels with either square steel tubing or round tubing. I'm just wondering what type of welder is the best to use for this job? thank you

I have no clue, many of parts I make is for the aerospace or the military so they often would redact the blueprints.

Not criticizing. It was just a funny mental picture.

I wonder how much weight it would add if you laid a pad of beads on every surface.
