Relocated my shock perches. It came out a little better than I was expecting since it was on vehicle still and had absolutely no room.

Looks great man! I'd like to do this with mine, but aside from not being equipped yet, I'm not there with the skills yet either :/

Speaking of which.... picked up a roll of Lincoln .030" NR211, and an FCAW tip - haven't had the chance to do much else than put the roll in and install the tip, but I'll say this much, HUGE difference between the FCAW tip and the MIG tip. The MIG tip is so bulky, I don't know why they'd ever put one on a flux-only welder... other than maybe to gain proficiency with having the larger tip.

Don't have a pic yet, but I got it at Lowe's right next to the wire and accessories. Basically a black cone that allows the very end of the electrode to stick out.

Here's a pic from elgoog

Yeah. I bought that same one and it happens to fit my HF170 perfectly. Sure makes it easier!

I believe they're universal. Should fit any MIG/FCAW gun.

Lincoln tips are specific to their own machines.

Chicago Electric welders must use the same threads then... 'cause this is a Lincoln tip.
