Get rid of the flux core and use gas and your welds will look even better.

I don't know about where you live but here it cost me like $60 up front for the bottle and now when I go back they just exchange the bottle and its like $20-30. I've had my welder for about a year and I'm getting down to my last bit in my second bottle.

They have small ones about the size of a scuba tank. I have two that are the same but much larger than those scuba sized ones. I figure the time when I will most need the welder and run out of Argon mix will happen on a Sunday afternoon so I got a spare tank to keep from running out at a bad time.

I thought about using pnuematic tires also but figured I'd probably pop a hole in one, piece of metal or a slag.

oh and with the wheels and casters on i figured it will be 36 inches tall. i think i may need another shelf in there so it does not look so empty when done.

Looks pretty good.

To me it looks awful tall for how narrow and short it is. Looks like it would be really top heavy. I know I would manage to tip it over about 10 minutes after I finished it.

Here are pictures of mine. Its made of an old bed frame, a burnt up air compressor, and old liscense plates.
