does anybody know where to get heim joints. im planning on making some upper and lower control arms for my 6 inch lift. i think that a heim joint would fit the tightest. any advice on how to start fabricating these arms would be greatly appreciated.

i like http://www.ballisticfabrication.com/ for brakets and joints. I would start off by just making a rough skech of what you want to do. Get some measurements for how much DOM you will need. Other people can charm in on this too.

i would go with a flex joint, like the johnny joint, for control arms. they are rebuildable and greasable.

Not all heim joints are crerated equal. Keep in mind to buy stuff big enough for your rig. By the time you do that and buy mis alignment spacers, you are not far off a decent flex joint.

the Dana 30 will handle those tires easily. no need to worry about upgrading the axle.
