swing out hinge
im designing a hinge for a swing out rear bumper i plan on fabricating.
i wanted to show u guys my rough drawing of the hinge, mind u it is a rough drawing so nothings to specs or that pretty
the idea is it to work like a bearing inside the Volkswagen engine. i dont wanna buy a $60 hinge when i can make one just as good if not better. have any ideas on what could be changed. im having a problem on how to keep the oil from spilling out on the housing best idea is 2 washers pressed together to make a seal. but have it a machined face so they will spin easily.
