well we decided to build some bumpers for the first time, we may do some add ons/ improvments to them at a later point.

for some reason its not letting the pics load to the site from this laptop, il add um later today when i get back to my house.

i wouldnt suggest puttin a winch on that bumper if its pure 1/8th sheet metal, but if you have reinforced the bottom side of the bumper and have that reinforced area tied into the frame then itll be okay but 1/8 isnt gonna hold up, ive bent 3/16 when using my winch

yea, the front is reinforced to the max and tied to the frame, its in there pretty good, figure trial and error lol if it breaks we get to weld more, win win battle lol

ok here we go lol got it to load on the home PC
start of rear


boxed out

starting the end caps to match the body lines

finished up the end caps

rear is finaly done, may add changes later

start of front

front boxed up, cut the fenders to fit the wrap around

a little more to go, need to add the tubes and a lil more welding to tie the skid plate all the way in to the bumper

my friends bumper was made with 1/8 and we tested it out. His withstood more then im going to put mine through probobly lol plus its lighter so it doesnt way her down as much.
heres a pic of what we had his do.
he smashed the rock climbing up it, then we dragged it from the tubes on the bumper, didnt seem to hurt the bumper at all, now the fenders were another story lol

thats my winter side job winch lol ,my "honda in a ditch getter" and collect 20$. its rated to dead pull 3k 6k rolling so itl work to help people outa ditches around this time of the year.
