The good thing is that fog lights for a beetle are practically free at the junk yard. Especially if you can pop the glass off while you're there.

Just a word of advice about xentec. If they work fine for you, then keep on using them and dont worry about them. But if they are to give you trouble.. then just go ahead and buy a different set of ballasts and bulbs. Stuff from xentec is half and half most times.. Half the people have no problem with it, the other half's equipment craps out along with every replacement part they send out to you.
I agree. One of those ballasts broke when we screwed the strap down the first time. We happened to have an extra set of ballasts so we put them in there gently.
