i figured if you tied it into the mounts it should be plenty strong enough for at least a 31 but im just not sure how to about doin it. and ive seen a few flip downs that go into the receiver hitch but i dont want it rattlin around back there

if a rear bracket was made to go through the stock bumper and made strong enough then it could be dont. would have to cut a slit or 2 in the bumper to make it fit. pm me or call me i can make you one. 501-545-7452 justin

There's a factory swing out tire carrier at my local junkyard. Actually, there's 2 of them. There's a mount that goes on the passenger side underneath the corner of the rear window and a mount on the bumper. I was gonna grab it, but it's too snowy to crawl under it to unbolt everything. I'd imagine if you searched your local junkyards you could find one and probably scoop it up for under $50 and that's if it's a pricey place.

I think those tire carriers are only good for 31's and not much bigger. then it just gets a little too heavy.

there are zero here locally for the stockers. I have heard that over time even with the weight of a stock tire it can start tearing itself loose.
