That's kinda neat looking. Like what others have said... sand it down, and paint it or bedline it and then it will look great.

I like where you put the mirror switch. Much better than the original location.

i would have used nails instead of screws because if u carpet it or paint it u will see those screws sticking out just my opinion

Its awesome! We all started somewhere. I built my own long arm suspension couple years ago. Broke in half the first time i wheeled it! 2nd time was the charm. My point is dont stop man! Sand it down, and cover it in undercoating. (more stain resistant than carpet) my 2c

Well haven't looked at this for a while I removed that thing I called a console haha installed a boot around shifter and removed the carpet cuz I found cancer under a small section now I'm building a armrest. If anyone knows tips on building one send me a message and might go on ebay to get a armrest pad. Thanks

It didn't have one and I like the no console just cleaner but no armrest is annoying and cupholders are really needed

I would love to keep this thread going so that we can see what the next progression is going to be. I liked the concept for your first console. I can't wait to see what you do about the arm rest and cup holders!

Props man! good job on just making something you needed out of extra material you had laying around! Like everyone else said, with some more finish work I think it'll look good!
