Good deal man, looks pretty legit I must admit. After I finish the paint job and minor body repair here in the next week I'll be more than likely making myself one similar to this design which is very similar to Surco's

Hey thanks, I got about 40 bucks in steel (3/4 square .065 wall) and 20 bucks in bedliner into the rack. It took us about 6 hours not to bad.

You plan to mount a shovel/hi-lift on it. Or what will be the main usage of this?

Ya, im going to put a axe, shovel, and probably mount spare tire up there.
We go camping alot so the chairs, tent, ice chest, bbq, and so on go up there.

Cool cool, Depending on what tire size you run sometimes mounting the spare on the roof isn't the best idea. Its a pretty big pain to get it off there and also throw the original tire back up there.

especialy if you just got outa a mud pitand your tires still caked with mud. getting the spare down isnt to bad but throwing the muddy one up thier gets dirty haha. ask me how i know! i personaly don't have a roof rack but i got suckerd into changing a tire. mainly because i was driving. but yeah. haha
