Default Roof Rack Number 2

This is the second rack i have built the last one was made out of angle iron square tubing i built this one out of EMT conduit and some 1/8'' plate.

I haven't installed my yet. Christmas present from wife. Anyway, I got the 27w LED flood lights for my bumper (well she did). Check them out on Youtube.com their nice! Bought them on Ebay or Amazon. Forget.

Rack looks great. I like the plate corners instead of bent corners. Kinda flows with the lines of the XJ better I think.

how did you mount it to the roof? did you take off the stock roof rack bars and runners?

if you zoom in on the picture of it installed on the Jeep you can see it mounted on the rain gutter like most racks, and it looks like a stock rails were deleted

Phoned around today to get some prices for conduit. Pretty cheap and lots of places to get it. Thanks for the pics!! Next project here I come!

I used c channel for the gutters my Cherokee came stock with a clean roof thank god
