I copied Warthogs as well with a few modifications. I used 1/2" emt cut to the frame width, flattened the last 1" of the ends in a vice and bolted them to the frame with 1/4" bolts and nylon lock nuts. After they were attached I rolled the ends of the crossbars down around the 3/4 (I think 1" is overkill) frame and filed them to smooth them up, it gave it a real clean look while providing a lot of stability.

Thanks man, I pinched them in a bench vice. Make sure you have a center line so both ends get pinched exactly the same.

Great lookin rack man!
Yea i would put some 1/2" rigid down for the floor, you plan on mounting anything like lights, shovel or highlift jack up their? Again great job and Yes Desert Rat it feels great after you tell people you built it and they say "Wow i thought you bought that some where" or "where did you buy that rack?".
