Im more in the 200 - 250 range.. but would have to inspect the welds... not saying i want to buy it.. but if i was looking for one.. it does look nice... and thats about what i would pay tops for a Home built rack...Good job tho... looks real nice..so... you got my opinun on price :} lol
P/S: now... think abou this.. .if you took and cut in into 4 peices and then sleaved to re asemble.. you could fab and ship... and make money that way..

It too me about 7 hours to make it. I made mine out of 3/4 and no bends at the corners. It holds 4 lights too. It has 4 to 5" inch tall sides. It holds my jack very nice and I am going to make the other side to hold a shovel and a axle. It is 2 years old and still works great. I have put over 500 pounds on it. The rack it self weights less then 50 pounds. There was 70ft of tubing that was about 80 cents a foot. Then I was buying the metal I had them cut most of it to the size I needed. The rack mounts to 4 stock sliders with 8 small unbolts. I all so used bolts to mount the rails to the jeep to replace the rubber brass plug things thats stock The rack cost about $80 for the tubing, $16 for the small ubolts, and like 1 small cutoff wheel.

Yea, thats one sweet rack!!!
i just finished mine and i couldnt be happier w/it.
Nothing like building it yourself,it's very rewarding
to know that God gave you the ability not only to get the,
stuff you needed to build it,but the tools, and the know how
to get it done!
Take care,
and God Bless!!!!!

I am going to make one too. Not sure weather to attach it to the roof crossmembers or just bolt directly to the roof and ditch the cross beams. anyone attach it to the rain catcher?
