That is literally perfect! i think it sits evenly on top, well from what it looks like. How is your spare mounted? i forgot to catch where you were located, but id be more than interested in purchasing one from you if possible.

x2 Surcos are 200 - 260 and not near the heavy dutyness?

I found the $100-150 comment humorous aswell! So I looked into shipping today and for the size and wieght of the roof rack it would be redonkulous to ship it any where since i would have to send it frieght.

I bent the tubing with a six thousand dollar hydraulic tubing bender.

For most of it I used 16g 1x1 and 1x2 tubing, but for the crossmembers that are holding the wieght and where the raingutter mounts are attached to i used a little bit thicker 1x2 tubing. I used some 2" x3/16 strap for the gutter mounts.

dude that is one of the best looking DIY roof racks i have ever seen, if you dont mind sending me some dimentions i would be very grateful! also did you bend the back part yourself or did you buy links or something like that? and i know this is alot but how did you get it to mount? it looks like it is mounted to the gutters but what did you use?

hahaha i am building my own and im looking for something almost exactly like that!
