Has anybody up here made their own rocker gaurds. Last time i went to Uwharrie (offroad park in NC) I got to close for comfort to smashin my driver rocker in. I had to back off the obsticle. Now I dont like smashin my stuff up to bad but I cant be backin off obsticles either if you know what i mean. So I may make some. I want something strong but still light weight. Any suggestions or info would be appreciated. thanks

where are u in nc ive been up to uwharrie a couple times. the past 2 times ive went my step dad flipped his yj on daniel in the same place both times
its become really rutted out

You could try my version of Rocker Armer. Check out my thread at bottom.

If you like them contact HD Offroad Engineering for a set. They do require welding.

Been 2 years and a ton of wheelin trips and they are still awesome.

 

Just outside of raleigh. It takes us about 1hr 30-45min to get there. Yeah daneil is getting crazy now. I have seen a few yotas flip in that same spot. Actually we were noticing that the big rock at the very top is cracked all the way through now. wont be long before it comes loose. that will mess somebody up.
