if you cant use them to jack your rig chances are they wont protect your rockers from trail obstacles either. being that this is there intended purpose i would say they need to be jack worthy.

I built these for a buddy of mine with an xj.. he is stoked and they have already been hammered pretty hard with only sum scratches to the paint...

Ya saving that pic from naxja! I've seen people bolt them on with 3 arms to the "frame" & 4 bolts per mounting plate, so I think I would rather bolt it on rather than weld cause I plan on reinforcing the unibody rails. yay or nay???
