Nice wright up. So is it bolted into the xj or does it just sit in there? If not bolted now does it move/slide around? If I can find it I want to do mine in Realtree Max 4. I am liking this alot.

everything except the bearings. i had those laying around. i think they are the same ones used in skateboard wheels if i remember correctly. the rest is
3/4" aluminum angle, 1/4-20 x 1 1/4"L bolts and nuts and 4 brass bushings. i offset it from center because i had to make a hole in the plywood for my bow
sight mount to drop into so it would sit low enough to close drawer.

Love this!

How long were the drawer sliders?

Great job.

Looks great! Just curious though as to why you chose to put the extinguisher where you did. It's not accessible from the back and if you need it NOW while you're diving you have to practically crawl into/over the back seat to get it. I realize you'll be running the back seat down, but it's still a reach to get that sucker. Maybe I'm missing something....

The drawer glides are 24" full extension. I have no problems reaching the fire extinguisher from the front seat and thought it was better to have it there rather than in the back somewhere where i would have to get out and open the hatch to get it.

Fair enough! I need to put something together like this. Right now I have a milk crate I keep all the extra fluids in and have my come-a-long, shovel, axle, air pump, tow strap etc stashed between it and the seat with a bungee cord holding the crate down, lol.

What size where the screws you used to screw the drawer down? Also what size of plywood?

I like that a lot. If I didn't have a fear of being organized I'd try making One

The bolts i used were 2 1/2" 1/4-20 and the ply wood was the waterproof roof sheeting which is 3/4" thick. I think a 4x8 sheet was $29 at The Home Depot.
