Default powder coat or not

home made bumpers....should we powder coat them or not. will be used for by new driver off road.

Just paint the bumpers, if it scraps the paint, just repaint.

Oh and this is not fab

Paint will last just as long as powder coat. Powder coats more of that show off finish all fine and critiqued and what not. Do a good rattle can job and it'll look great

do some brush on leaves nice lines and easy to touch up. then learn to post in the correct place.

Rattle can will look good and its very easy to touch up. If you could get it powder coated cheap though and you want it to look top quality do that. I have a buddy that lets me use his harbor freight powder gun $60 and his oven and the powder which you can get in pretty much any color costs around $15 a pound. Which you could do at least three bumpers with. Ive done wheels with mirror black powder finish and they look 10x better than any spray paint job.

Just paint 'em flat black... Since those bumpers are prone to damage during off-roading...

I used the bedliner rattle can and it turned out nice. It gave it a texture and suppose to be scratch resistant. Havnt tried it out yet to see if it is true. It was like 7 bucks a can tho.
