How bad was the conversion I hate the old style doors. I really wish we had the swivel vent window like some older fords had.

all put together and washed.

the only real pain the the but is the striker. u have to drill holes and bolt it on or some thing that wont come off. i used rivets but im not to sure on how long they will. hold im going to get them tack welded once i get some time but for the mean time they are ok.

also i lost my power windows and door locks for the front but its ok.

if u have to take out the doors then i would just do the swap.

i dont think they have the same tracks cuz if they did then im going to be mad because of what i went thru.

but i never thought of just changeing the tracks. would make it alot simpler

If you have a '94 you just have to swap doors. My '92 has swivelling vent windows.

mayko, why did you not swap the mirrors? That's the best mod yet! They fold in securely & they give you a larger viewing space.

the pick and pull i went to only had two 97+ older cherokees aned all them where gone or broken.

plus the doors i got are manual doors. so i also have to rewire the swiches so i can still lock and unlock, and open and close the rear windows.

i also have to take out the door locks from the old doors and swap them into the new doors.
