Need fabricators opinion
Hey all I know this is prolly in the wrong section but wanted to ask you fab guys cus you could help the most. I'm looking at getting a 99 Cherokee that has a bent A FRAME. It's bent 2 inches. Is the a frame the main frame under the car or something else and how hard would it be ( or even possible) to fix. A new windshield and front drivers door won't fit without. Thank u all if u can help

wrong section..check.
bad idea to buy..check.
all joking aside, cherokee's are of unirail,"unibody" construction. If the body is that bend, chances are a sile ull and some doors aren't gonna cut it. I will never be "right".
now if it was dirt cheap, and i was gonna build a buggy, then i might think about it.

if its not free, i would say pass on it, doors, windshield, windshield frame, floor pans, strighten the b piller, a piller, lots of work even for a expierienced body guy, much less a hobbiest. or if you got time and space you could part it out, but that is a big hassle.

if the front axle is bent, it is more than likely gonna cause a camber issue, if your rotor is hitting your steeering knuckle, then a would take a look at the unit bearing. easially changed in an hour. if your rotor is hitting the inner c, than look into ball joints, but those are extream cases of wear for those to cause the rotor to hit anything!
