Default my try at a winch bumper.

My goal was to have the winch sit low and tight so it did not block my radiator and impact my cooling. I will add some build pics, I was alone when I built it so I didn't take too many.

Looks good,

Does it have any support behind the bulkheads on the corners where the L brackets tie in to the mounting plate.

Yes, all the 90 deg angles are backed up with 1 1/2" angle and the bottom and back sides are capped off with gussets inside.

I also doubled up the plate under the winch and tied it into the radiator support for a bit more strength.

looks strong, but you should add in 3/4 inch d-ring tabs, welded both sides with a flat gusset plate on the back.
good for pulling with a strap, and using a ****** block for a 2 line pull.

I have recovery hooks under he bumper tied into the "frame" mounts. I wanted to keep the front clean and smooth. When I get back from vacation I am going to clean up the welds and wire up a switch to the inside for the winch.
