Well I'm moving in a couple of weeks so it's time to pack all my tools and crap up so work has stopped on the bumper. I grinded, primed and Raptor lined it yesterday. I'm going to install it today and once I get settled and get my plasma cutter and winch I'm going to finish it up. May add a stinger to it also.

And for any of you who'd like to see more picture of it here's the photobucket album with all the pictures I've taken of the bumper.

Oh yea, and you can see where I added a little more beef around the steering box bolts just for added insurance

If I had to gues I'd say material cost including all the damn cutting wheels I used up cutting this steel was somewhere in the neighborhood of $100-$125 in materials. That's steel, cutting discs, welding wire etc.....

I used some scrap from the 2 sets of sliders that I'd built previously to build out the corners.

The next one I'm building it going to be all 1/4" and 3/16" plate and that should get the costs down even more.

Nicely done! Wondering why you didn't drill out the holes for the d-shackles though. Just curious is all. Great job for a first bumper!
