longarm question
So ive decided to build my own longarms and had a question about the ones ive seen in the kits. All the ones I have seen are just one arm on each side for the lower link and a y off of that for the upper link. I have a 360 in my xj and need more clearence for my motor mounts and was wondering if the upper link could be moved out so it is verticle with the lower link, or so the y goes straight up instead of at an angle

No, not on a stock front axle. If you want the upper (radius) arms on the same vertical plane as the lowers you're going to have to relocate the axle-side upper control arm mounts.

relocating is no problem Im changing to a d-44 from a waggy anyhow, my xj wasnt even 4x4 when I got it but it was cheap, I just dont know that much about 4 links and dont know if that would mess anything up
