haha NO! i made my first hole about 1/2" small all the way around so I wouldnt mess it up. you know the saying measure twice cut once? I measured 100 times and cut 50 times lol.

so just to be straight, those Baron vents are the same shape? and oriented the same way regardless to shape?

awesome! im so glad you posted this....i had these vents on my xj when i got it. i have a big hole in my hood cause one broke and i didn't know where to get one but now i know. thanks!! and looks good

dont get tooo past that fear of cutting it... or else you might start losing more body panels and parts haha

mine used to have them... lost one to the ridiculous hood scoop and the other one broke off

Ya! nice Ive seen that on here before, See how the vents on the hood of the white cherokee are mirror images of eachother, not the same shape.

Yes they are mirror images of each other, as long as you mount them both the same way you should be good to go. It looks like the first side you did was right on. Do the same thing to the other side and you'll be set!!

soon im wanting to get a hood SCOOP for the other side so that air will be forced down on the headers to cool them and vent out the other side
