I wanted a metal dash, now I got one.
Nice, thanks for the info.
The previous owner did the same to my radio, so I'm OK with using my iPod. And my heater doesn't work, so that doesn't matter to me, either.

If I decide I neeed one I got a air saw that would make quick work. Actually I'll probably just bolt a couple ammo cans down. Im planning on having a semi-permanent tool box anyways.

After seeing all of this AWESOMENESS, I expect to see this in the Cherokee Of The Month thread when your done (which is a joke, because an XJ owner is never really done with anything lol). You would have my vote.

This is gonna help me alot when i do mine but i'm gonna keep the a/c and the heater ducting since mine is chopped and the inside temp changes very easy. So I gotta build mine around everything which will be a fun challenge.

everyone I appreciate the positive feedback. Typically after a 3 page thread you get some negative, anti-modding guy. My brother got in a little trouble with the old man so I get to put him to work, he's sanding the exterior for paint this week. Its a work in progress and I should be back at it after christmas. Drake canvasbacks are on my mind for now.

Yes the c clip broke. I was only doing about 45 going up hill. The rear just dropped and the tire started to pass me. It slowed down and hit the rear door then back corner and wound up exactly how the picture was taken. I was gonna fix the rear but a friend was parting out a xj so I just bought his rear. I also built upper and lower front control arms and have an extra leaf to put in rear once i can work on it. I just had back surgery so it is gonna be a little while. Hopefully I can have it all back together by fall.
I alreaddy painted the new rear and got new extended brake lines. Just need to order some 4.88s for front and rear and it will go back in.
