I know its a sticky but...
On the trimming of the rear quarter panel, can i cut directly in the center of the tack weld or can i trim above or below it. Because the tack welds are right even with the flare attachment holes. And then I slice and bend up and in right? Sorry I like doin things right the first time. I guess in this instance, I have no choice. thanks.

i would not even bother with cutting them then bending them up. i would and this is just me will save you some time. just cut slots after every pot weld or every couple of inches and hammer them up in the wheel well and call it good.

Yea, it's not really worth trimming the bottom off first. When you fold them up, they flatten down for the most part. Besides, nobody's gonna go up inside your wheel well to criticize your cut and fold. Just a little tip, since I screwed up a little on the first side. When your cutting the slots, don't go all the way to the body line, stop like 1-2 mm before other wise they show a little bit when your at eye level with it. Can't see it standing up though, but I imagine it would look cleaner.

The law sucks but damn its beautiful! I went up to SLC with a buddy to pic up his TJ and I was like whats with all the damn mudflaps. He was like its the state law and I was like thats GAY!!!
