How to remove a exocage!
Thought this would be more funny than anything but may give someone an idea if they ever come across it... Lol...
First cut all mounts in common sensr places... Dont cut where it wraps under the jeep... Duh...
This case i wanted to leave welded to front bumper so i unbolted it and cut welds...
Cut off back bumper at lowest point possible to leave room for welds on new bumper... This one was welded to the oem weak frame brackets and bolts on... Not strong enough for me... Ill sell it on ebay for $50 though...
Next stick a jack between the roof and rack and start pumpin...
Please dont plan to keep the roof... Lol
Itll slide right on up... Make sure it doesnt hang on door latches or anything...
This is as far as i got cause a rain cloud came... Lol... Ill be back at it probly dropping it on me here in a couple minutes...

i still would've built a new one... sell the one you just removed and start making some plans.... The 2-door has a longer door line but i guess some quick cuts of your b-pillar tube's could just as easily be moved back

yep just typed a long answer and my computer went white... then back to my CP so its gone... damn...
i have maybe $50 in the front bumper and roll cage... if you can do that new with tools included then your awesome! but this is for project frugal so its perfect for me... i will probly move them back for the two door version and flip them so the brace goes backwards so i can open doors... ill see how its gonna work later but its not that big a deal... plus the bumpers perfect for my narrowed front end... i may have to bend the front end a bit though i dont know...
