I'm right there with you worleste000. My exhaust consists of the exhaust manifold, pipe, cat, pipe, muffler, about 6" of pipe, then a turn down. No more rattle, and it doesn't drag with my departure angle.

Heres my solution to the lack of cup holders in older XJ's.
Just a standard water bottle holder for a bike. All switches are usable with no interference. And it beats the plastic one u buy from the dealer. That i'm assuming would break if it was bumped at anything below freezing. Hey and it doesn't look to bad when its holding a drink and its +100F out

Thats awesome I was just telling my wife today that was the only thing I didnt like about the jeep no cupholders!

A couple of my own....
Tube doors for my old cherokee. Being worry-some about getting them stolen in Las Vegas, Nevada...I welded some half inch steel rod to the bottom of the door. Basically bent the rod into a C shape and put a Limiting Strap on it and welded it to the door. Then bolted the other end of the limiting strap to the body under the trim below the dash...
Another shot with my custom speaker mounts with no doors :P
Also Daystars TJ vent switches nicely fit in the vents of 97-01 Cherokees (XJ) and no cutting is required for a clean switch install
Also some switches in place of the clock on my 91 XJ. switches bought from pepboys as a panel and the mounting is just sheet metal bent to fit inside...

^^ Nice.
On that note, since this is my 6th Jeep, and for the first time, one that doesn't have to double duty as a DD, I figured I'm finally gonna build my monster rig.
Since I took this I've cleaned it with a brushed look, and done switches/ 2 gauges. Other interior pieces are 4 points & gutted interior. Someday when I'm not lazy I'll actually make a half arsed build thread.

I made a false floor. It is kind of like 96_XJ's floor but taller and top access with cup holders.

I made a false floor too! However it does look a little ghetto since i ran out of the carpet to cover it with haha. Plus is was all free since i got the wood out of a construction dumpster and i had the carpet scraps laying around. This is for the most part based off of 96_xj's design so all props go to him!!!
