Lol with a bigger tire it'll look pretty good but with that small, skinny tire on a wheel with stock backspacing it just looks weird.

To be completely honest, I'd keep my spare in the trunk until I got one big enough to look good on that bumper. Just looks plain weird.

No vibration at all, I put felt pads on the top and bottom of the brackets and then bolted straight thru with the pins.
Subs still hit just as hard and sound great... trust me I hate rattle, I removed my overhead light because it rattled.

2x4's were just lined up with the metal behind the interior panels, made sure they were even, then drilled through both 2x4 & metal and heavy bolted it with a rubber washer (dampen vibration def worth it), lock nut and bolt.
Broken leg so I can move anything around right now, but ill try post more pics when I move everything out to clean next time.

Decided I needed to keep it from flying around when offroad, it also allows me to mount heavier things to the board, doubled up the plywood... plans to have a hi jack and powertank mounted to it with a safari strap to protect rear passengers.

All bolted into the sides of the truck, 2x4 supports w/ heavy gauge hardware.
Doubled plywood, bolted together, rattle canned the wood.
Wrapped the top ply in carpet to match the truck carpet and sub box.
Soft and helps sound deadening

So far no issues, and it keeps the subs from moving around.
Looks like a good way to get your head smashed in...

yea...in a static state maybe. Factor in you driving or hitting the brakes at 70mph and the force goes WAAAY up ( Force = mass x acceleration). So now your 70lb tire x the standard 15 fpsps deceleration rate = about 1000 lbs flying toward your head. That is not going to be enough to keep that tire in place...

Each support is made out of 1/4 plate steel. The bottom is 2x5 3/16 thick. Entire bumper is 75 lbs. Swivel is 1" Dom .120.... Sitting on a delron bushing.
