Ya I'd imagine the guy that posted that ditched this forum. I too feel kinda bad for him. Hey it seemed like a good idea..... A lot of people don't understand how a n/a internal combustion engine works and how different mods effect (or have no usable effect) the engines efficiency (HP). Cut the guy a little slack. He's been bashed enough

ok so ones the stock one in the air box and the others at the top of my snorkel...
poor kid. he couldnt have been very old or he wouldve known better. at one point we all knew nothing about engines.

All that said the 4.0 engine can still take in more air than the stock air box allows... dosent hurt to have a little extra filter to let the engine take in all it can at least. Im going to put a cone filter on mine soon as I can, but thats because I want to put a backup battery where the airbox goes

I have a simple velocity stack with a cone on mine.. operates fine for what I do. I have only hit one water crossing that made me think I was screwed (post hood vents) I will not be forwarding water like that again though.. water coming over the hood to the windshield was kind of concerning...
