Yeah its a lot easier than putting in a taurus fan like everybody always does for some reason. My jeeps not a dd so it doesnt get driven much in the winter. When it does its just to go wheelin and the windows are down anyway so keeping it warm isnt really my main concern. Originally Posted by kitsapfreerider

I made 6 of them with the leftover tube I had from my bumpers and sold them all for 50 each

Kinda tough to run a swaybar with that brace installed though.

I havnt ran a swaybar in 3 years. It sits in the driveway 99% of the time. The only time it gets driven on the road is to/from the trail and if its over an hours drive, it gets trailered.Originally Posted by FrankZ

my 2001 XJ had a very very loose center console...took it apart and found the plastic brace was broken in several places. So I made a steel one and she is solid now!

I Tried to do that once but, I got horrible screeching sound caused by the ground loop with my jeeps radio. I found that with a good EQ petal and an power filter for the amp, it reduced it a little, but not much.Originally Posted by kitsapfreerider
I like this idea because I could then install an old bass guitar amp in the back and use it as a sub without buying an amp and sub. Sweet, how much would u say a set up like that costs??

Yeah I didn't have the money for this mod but if i did the active control on my bass would greatly help plus my EQ on my head unit would eliminate most external sounds.Originally Posted by tardis_wj
