Default Home Brew Tire carrier bumper

Here's the start to the bumper so far i have learned that the bumper needs to stick out just a bit further so the actual tire carrier part will go on. now i have to notch out the square tube so that it'll clear the latch to open the door... hope you like it so far

Well I was also looking at making it into an Air bumper that I could fill when/If I air the tires down. But I think i'm going to defenitely put the D rings on it besides the fact they look pretty B A.

Looks pretty cool except it seems like the weight of tire is pulling back the whole thing from the window. Maybe it's just the picture.

Well the weight of the tire pulls it back a little bit but I should have built it on flat ground have a couple of hiccups but it works and also the receiver tube the tire is mounted too points towards the ground a little bit....

Well as long as it's not hitting the hatch when you brake it looks good to me!

I put some rubber bumpers on the back to keep it tight up against the hatch so it doesn't rattle or shake I think I'm going to cut the mount and make it point up a little bit...
