I've got more time this thing then I dunno what. This all started because lower control arm brackets were mangled.
Lower control arm brackets have two position slightly raised and raised about 1.5" from stock
Shock mounts and shes ready.
will be 3 linked not sure off wich side yet. Shocks might munt off the side of lower control arms Its taking the place of this cad axle.
This 30 is going in with a 8.25 I've already trussed and disc braked.maight be making the swap in the next week or so.
I started putting together long arm frame side brackets last night.
I'll have about 28-30" arms. Will be similar to poly performance brackets. Lower arms will be nearly flat. I wanted to go to the crossmember but went shorter to easier hopefully fit upper arm in.
Its in. Raising lowers arms did make it dive. Ill be raising upper with couple options to tune. Seperation at 7 and 8" It is much smoother and softer feeling off road.
I am still tuning castor. I had way to much, now not enough bump it a hair and test tomorrow
You can't even see it's a trussed 30
Looking forward to starting the long arm project. I've got it pretty much built and finished in my head.
Bump stoping to keep track out of oil pan Upper ink didnt land quite on the truss so it ws gusseted nd bixed. Upper link mount is of 3/8" Much easier to remove coils with longer arms This is the upper Links finished ut about 31.5" Upper is abut 32" depends on where castor set. Currently about 7deg See what happens when you truss a 30 Im completely in love with this 3link. This goes righf lng as one of the best upgrades ive done. Maybe second to the welded rear end.
