that looks sweeeettt i think thats what im going to do! i have been looking for a cheap way to do half doors since i dont wanna fork out the cash for tube doors but im going to do all 4 like that. did you just weld a piece of metal where the opening is on the door where it was cut? thats my only concern

 

What I did was cut out the back so there was pretty much nothing left but a lip to weld onto, because there isnt enough metal to use to cap them. So then I cut a piece of sheetmetal to match the cutout design on the front and welded it on the back. Then I just capped the top
