I have a grenade just like that I started drilling in a drill press at about 1200 rpm I drilled on it for like 30 minutes used quite a bit of oil and did not make much progress I am using a brand new fastball high speed bit. Did to have trouble drilling it or am I doing something wrong

So the lever on the grenade will work as the release button for the shifted??!! If that's the case, I'm in. I want one. It will match my themed GC perfect!!!

not all mods have to be performance based so are just plain cool

1200rpm is way to fast. You'll burn that bit up. I used my dremel with a grind stone just to inlarge the hole a little. I did this mod today and made the lever as the release button.

600rpm is what you want for a 1/2" bit

My press goes down to like 620 so I'll guess il try that some time tomorow

I'll be getting a few dummy grenades in the next felt days and will be trying to make an easily duplicated shifter. If I could make a few of these would any of you be interested in buying them? I'd make sure they work on the automatic shifter.
