Well i have had a few people ask me about a write up for my shifter so here is to everyone that wants to know.
1. I got the grenade from a army surplus website, it was cheap and real.
2. I took the stock shifter off by muscleing it off.
3. There is a white plastic stock piece inside the shifter shaft that is just sitting there, Pull it out. (dont have a pic cause i broke it ahwile back)
4. The metal piece i used was just a scap piece i had in my welding class it was thin but bendable, and not flimsy. That is the only two qualities you need. The metal is 7 1/2" long, and the bend is 4" from the top.
5. The grenade came with a hole in the bottom due to removing the charges, but i gradually drilled out the whole bigger till it fit like i wanted.
6. ON the inside of the grenade i tack welded(or you can glue) the metal to the fuse.
7. Then it should slide right down on top the shaft if you drilled the hole out to the right size. You just push down when shifting, and yes it does work ALL the time, but be carefull, Pushing down to shift is hard to get used to and you might shift by accident!!!
ANY questions you guys have just feel free to ask!!

Not likely. I have the same grenade in my hands as we speak. (brother in law in the army, sent one up from the surplus store.)
I like the idea, I've been thinking about putting mine on the lever for my 4x4.

that looks sick, have you gotten pulled over with it on? Just wonder if pd would pull you out and search the vehicle... also i dunno if id like it on the spd, cause of the handle, maybe id just take out the whole mechanism and flip it over...
