This may be in the wrong spot so please move if it is. I had some stuff laying around and just pulled out the welder and was playing around. Im making 2 lamps out of some parts and will post more pics when I get more done. They will have the glass shades on them. Kinda like the ones that hang down not the typical lamp shade. What do you guys think?

Those are going to be some heavy friggin lamps, but they ought to look pretty darn cool when they're finished. Should probably clean them up a little, otherwise they'll just smell like a car.

I hope you didn't weld that spring in place yet, cause it would look best if the DS was a diff color than the spring imo! What color or colors are you thinking?

love em! i get carried away just like you. when i got my used millermatic 35 workin for the first time i built an entire "man chair" out of old jeep parts. A front seat out of an 84, exhaust manifold from a 4.0 as a footrest, exhaust clamp as a cup holder, and a 2.5l custom air cleaner as an ashtray.

You will be surprised at how many people love this type of artwork. Expect offers to buy em or requests to make more. Lookin great! Good work
