Hi
Down here in Oz , XJ came standard with fuel tank skid plates , pretty solid as I had my xj rear in the air with the tank sitting on a tree stump and the fuel tank wasn't scratched.
I thought you guys would of had them.
The problem with you Yanks is you can,t build a vehicle , learn to put the steering wheel on the the right side

gas tank skid is 3/16" thick if you want a cheap winch try smittybilt ,rough country or harbor freight
yeah very good idea i should probably drill some holes up higher so i can flush it out i already have some drain holes at the lowest point

well my steering box was leaking so i decided to replace it with a 99 durango box and figured i would make myself a inner steering box brace/spacer thing i used 3/16" plate and 1" 1/4" wall dom for the tube so basically just like all the aftermarket ones kinda lol and i made the spacers about an 1/8" longer for the durango box now i just have to go put it back together
